The first winter ascent of Trollveggen’s Swedish Route took place in 1980. The three young climbers Hans Christian Doseth, Håvard Nesheim and Kjetil Svanemyr wore the first edition of Norrøna’s trollveggen jacket and bib pants. Since then, trollveggen climbing jackets and pants have been part of countless expeditions, including the Norwegian Route up Great Trango Tower and the first Norwegian conquest of Mount Everest.
We now have the pleasure of launching a whole new generation of trollveggen outerwear the mountaineer’s first choice. Gore-Tex® Pro Shell fabric can withstand a great deal of wear and tear. It makes for durable light jackets that keep out the elements. The unique YKK® Aquaseal zipper is 100-percent waterproof and windproof. Large underarm vents can be opened and shut from either direction. The hood is of course roomy enough for a helmet, and the overall cut of the jacket permits great range
